 „Titanium” Standing seam roofsystemArt or craft? Art Main form of architecture is a line. By its shape, sharpness and direction we can emphasize or conceal height, depth or length. We can also establish the form of convex or concave surfaces. We can soften the shape of a roof or facade, combine or separate... It is usually the case, that the use of flat shaped building materials thwarts our plans. The customer does not notice a wavy roof, a floating facade, combined surfaces, breaks or offsets. We can change that Titanium Pruszyński uses a unique alloy of noble metals: titanium and aluminium. Owing to this alloy, standard seam technology gained a new dimension. Combination of those metals gave an unusual material, which allowed us to transfer our work from the paper to the actual surfaces, rising or falling, vertical, horizontal or sloping. Each detail can be shown, concealed, emphasized or covered up. The structure gains a third dimension. Surface is no longer flat and dull. It can have direction and shape. That’s not all, we can use colour, refer to the surroundings or cut off it. We can use lines and colour, everything an Artist need to create his work. Does it suffice? Standard colours
